20 weeks ~ Bump

** WARNING **

There is a photo of me below, and I'm not wearing much.
There, don't say I didn't warn you!
Read on and scroll down if you dare...

20 weeks, that's half way to meeting the little Sea Monkey! Very exciting stuff really. I can't decide if it has been fast, or slow. It seems to depend on how I am feeling at the time...

Being 20 weeks means that I have another scan coming up which is VERY exciting, I love these brief glimpses into the murky beyond to see the little one.

Sleeping in a comfy position is getting harder, but I love feeling the little kicks, ticks and flutters that are frequent in the evenings when I first lay down in bed.

I am now 58.2kg so have only put on 1.2kg since the start. Remarkable when I look at the size of me!

So there you have it, all the info you didn't really need, but had to have anyway :)

  3. Oh yay - half way that is so exciting - I think that I was twice the size you are now at 20 weeks with Baden - mad really when you know how big I am IRL!

    Good luck on Friday.

  4. Lovely - such a precious time - enjoy it!
Just looked back and saw your bookclub reading list and I can highly recommend A Lesson Before Dying - I read it ages ago but it was great.
Breath by Tim Winton will divide your readers - some might find the subject matter not to their liking so if you don't know all the club members well maybe steer clear of this.
Wanting, Richard Flanagan - on my beside table to be read, but I love his stuff generally.
The Slap is one I want to read - ver controversial but would be good for a book club I think.

The Spare Room - Helen Garner - I really enjoyed this - gives a very honest account of a lady and her friend who is dying.
    Not a happy tale though!
Coming to America - thoroughly enjoyed this - in fact I think it was the topic of my second ever blogpost! - I am an Anne Tyler fan though.
Can't wait to hear more about your book club.

  5. Gorgeous bump.. all the best for your scan you must be just a couple of weeks ahead of me. But I think I've gained more than 1.2 kg!

  6. Isn't it a funny feeling, that little party going on inside when you first go to bed. If you've only put on 1 and a bit kilos by this time, I doubt that you'll have much to worry about post preggers and I know you too well to be concerned that you'll go weird about the necessary weight gain in order to carry safely.

Read your comment this morning - think we need to have a buck-me-up phone chat? I wanna know what the results of the scan are in any case. V. envious of your beach holiday plans - I hope the weather is good for it!

Like you - perhaps this should have been an email? LOL!
