My Creative Space

Eye Spy with my little eye...

I bought an Eye Spy charm pack some time ago and with the cooler weather starting to settle in I thought I had best turn it into a snuggly cot quilt for Little Blue.

I backed it with a woolen blanket so it would be warm enough and I made it a little wider, and longer than an average cot blanket so it could be tucked in.   The slightly larger size will be good when we need to convert the cot into a toddler bed too.

I love his chubby little wrists!

This is the second quilt I have had a go at Free Motion Quilting myself and I am almost getting good enough at it that I am ready to get brave and tackle my much larger 9 Patch quilt top...

Thanks also for all the lovely comments about the Mr's corn
I am happy to report that it tasted as good as it looked!

  1. Turned out great! Good idea making it a bit bigger too - now Ive taken the side off Jazz's cot I wish hers was a bit wider.

  4. It's fabulous.

Chubby to the point of burst is super cute. My little guy looked like he was going to pop at any moment when he was little.
