My Creative Space

I am playing along with My Creative Space again this week because I have been spending a bit of time back at the machine of late and I do enjoy it.

Some drawstring bags made from op-shopped tea towels.  No need to think about things because Cam has done all the thinking for you and provided a great tutorial too.

Great shoe bags, and handy project bags.  I had my knitting in one to take in the car on our recent beach trip, which was lucky really as this bag also makes a handy pouch for when you pick up a little friend.

This small one's mother had been hit by a car so we stopped and picked him up.  He spent his trip with us snug in his bag until we got him to the Vet in the next town.

So there you have it.
Make some of Cam's bags because you never know when you might need one, or why.

  2. He's adorable and very lucky you came along to save him. Great use of old tea towels ... I'm off to dig in my linen cupboard and see whether I have any contenders to make a bag.

  3. We still have baby nappies (cloth ones) for the windscreen for any emergancy wildlife but the drawstring bag idea would be far more presentable at the vet!! You good animal lover you!! Love Posie

  4. What a great idea using tea towels - making bags for the wildlife has been on my list all year (to take up to Australia Zoo) maybe next year.

He is super cute. And one can never have to many little bags I say.

  7. Sally, he was only a little dehydrated when we dropped him off so there is no reason he shouldn't be doing well :)
