I have not been sewing much of late, but every now and then I like to pretend I still do enough to consider myself a seamstress of sorts. I made this skirt for Possum out of a pair of my pants that let go in the fastener area (and let us PLEASE not talk about the implications of that).
I cut the pants off below the knee, joined the sides, admired the already in place hem and added an elastic waist. Quick and easy and made me feel better about admitting defeat with my waist line (still not talking about it please).
I later added a couple of yo yo flowers to the hem which Possum likes, but I am not too sure. I guess I will leave them...

ReplyDeleteI must admit, there's lots of girly augmentation on uber-goober's clothes that I really have difficulty with, but she seems to like them, so they stay!
