In order to pretend that I 'needed' the spinning supplies that I ordered I thought I should spin something. I had some roving sitting in the cupboard so I spent the weekend enjoying the sunshine and happy children and I set to work.
The results are 150g and about 328 meters of colour.
I wonder what I should pattern I should knit with it? Nothing for awhile I bet, the Mr asked me to knit him a jumper and I have only done 20cm of the back, it is going to be a slow project...
That wool is lovely! Could be a lovely vest for your littlie or a beanie or tea cosy or anything really. Love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck with the man jumper! I've been meaning to knit my husband a jumper but none of the 'off-the-shelf' pattern books have his size (100+ cm chest) - so I've been safe to date.
pooy to DH's jumper - you have to allow yourself to do small things in between such a big project:)
ReplyDeleteWhat ply would it be - it looks lovely!
Oh and do you want some bunny fur to spin? I hav a friend with a bunny and she has been throwing away the hair when she shaves him - I have got her saving it if you want it!
Gorgeous Becky - love the colours... what about a shawl?
ReplyDeleteOh Becky this is just gorgeous!!! I'm so looking forward to see what you create with this amazing hand-spun yarn..
