Clapotis

During March I started a Clapotis shawl in Malabrigo Silky, which is the softest and most beautiful yarn I have had the pleasure to knit with.  Details of the Clapotis can be found here on Ravelry, or here on the Knitty website if you are not a Ravelry user.  Right now on Ravelry there are over 17,000 Clapotis projects listed, which is amazing I think.

Strangly, after knitting this shawl, I have decided I think it makes a better scarf.  I may change my mind after blocking it... However I end up wearing it, i really like it!

Have you noticed how hard it is to take a decent photo of yourself when you are the only one at home?  Trust me it is!

  1. Can I say that I think that's a very unattractive name for what appears to be a very attractive shawl/scarf!!
    It sounds like a disease!!
    Love the colour Becky.

  2. Laughing at Karen's comment:)

Love it and the colour - looking forward to seeing it blocked - I do like it as a scarf though (you should see some of my self portraits over the last few weeks that have not made it to the blog)

  3. It's beautiful Becky! My mum made me one in baby alpaca 4 ply and it is the warmest scarf I own.
