The kit that started it all!
Dick and Jane ~ Sally Look Quilt
I bought this kit before I had any plans of learning to quilt. I didn't know who Michael Miller was, or what a walking foot did. I didn't own a rotary cutter or ruler.
I just really liked it, and the lunch box it came in!
Of course I now own it, and all the other bits and bobs needed to put this quilt kit together but for some strange reason I still have not started on it.

I am loving the fabric in your kit! I am thinking about starting a mini quilt myself. Maybe i will make a baby blanket to start with and I like the idea of using all the cute fabric!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this range! I can't wait to see what you do with it. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE it! I saw that exact kit at GJs - it's so beautiful! I would be too afraid to cut into it! Even the tin is nice.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost a shame to use such a pretty kit! It would make a fun kids quilt though!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's hard to start on a quilt, especially if the supplies look so pretty just sitting there in their little tin... :)
ReplyDeleteI don't quilt but I would ahve bought that too - it's gorgeous - can't wait to see it made up.
